Jenny commenced her career working as a Computer Programmer/Analyst in IT on mainframe computers before adapting to personal computers as the technology changed. Besides running her own business she has worked for small and large organisations including the NHS. She joined the Royal National Institute of the Blind in 1995 as a Technical Resources Officer and carried out technical assessments for those who are blind or visually impaired over a period of over 10 years. She is now a senior partner in Abilitywise LLP, based in Devon, a partnership that specialises in technical solutions, equipment software and training for those with disabilities. She uses her experience to provide assessment, training and technical solutions for those who are blind, visually impaired, or have specific learning difficulties.

Julian commenced his professional career in sales and marketing before running his own successful business. Having experienced many of the difficulties associated with having a disability he decided, in the early 1990's, to change direction slightly and use his knowledge and experience to support others who had had similar experiences. After working for the Royal National Institute for the Blind, he joined a local Further Education college to support students with disabilities. As Head of Additional Support he worked closely with students, staff and external institutions across a wide range of disabilities. He is now a senior partner in Abilitywise LLP, based in Devon, a partnership which specialises in technical solutions, equipment, software and training for those with disabilities. He is qualified in Teaching, Business, and Information Technology and has particular expertise in the use of strategies and technology for those who are blind, visually impaired, or have specific learning difficulties.
