Access 2 Ability provide services to help businesses and disabled individuals to maximise their performance in the workplace. We are specialists in the specification and implementation of reasonable adjustments to improve productivity and reduce the impact of an impairment on the individual.
We provide a full range of services from management of all aspects of disability within the organisation to a single holistic assessment and specification of support.
Our work is recognised by government departments, private organisations, nonprofit and charitable organisations. Access 2 Ability are the prime contractor and provider of Access to Work assessments in the South West Region for Jobcentre Plus across all disability areas. Our team includes specialist experienced assessors for Ergonomics, Wheelchair Assessment, Adaptation to Premises, Specific Learning Difficulties, Visual and Hearing Impairments.
We are committed to removing barriers caused by a disabling impairment within the context of the workplace. Our aim is to improve productivity for the benefit of the the organisation and the individual. We operate a "Whole Organisation Approach" working with the employee, colleagues, line and business management.
Access 2 Ability calls on the multidisciplinary expertise of a highly experienced team of assessors with more than 300 years of combined experience working within the public and private sector.
We are focused on providing a single point of contact to solve and prevent problems. We are conscious of the important role managment has, working to get the best from those who have a disability, and we provide training and guidance for them.
The team includes psychologists, occupational therapists, ergonomists, specialist teachers, and sensory experts.
